Let’s Talk Text!
Now that you have your basic page layout, you might want to enhance it your personal story. My friend, Pam, the one who got me started with scrapbooking believes that using your our printing is better than typing. She feels that it makes it more personal and unique. It becomes your family’s history book. I don’t think my printing is pretty or straight enough so I use journaling boxes with lines. That keeps my words straight. I also make sure that I identify the people in the pictures, just in case my scrapbook ends up in my grandchildren’s hands after I’m no longer here. They will know who was in the picture.( I wish my great-grandmother had done the same with her black and white pictures.)
You might write a poem, or a caption. You might want to tell a story or make it like a journal of your baby’s life. Tell what happen on that special day. What you want others to remember.
